Who We Are

Black Pine Paper Co. was founded by Ivan Mathena, who has almost two decades of experience working in the paper and paper packaging industry, having previously worked with his family’s company, Paper Cutters Inc. Although he gained a lot of valuable experience working with Paper Cutters Inc., he found that the company’s traditional approach to doing business was limiting his ability to “help at full speed.” As a result, Ivan decided to branch out on his own and create Black Pine Paper Co. as a strategic hub for paper packaging solutions, combining his expertise with his desire to help others.

From the very beginning, Black Pine Paper Co. has been dedicated to exceptional customer service. We understand that time is of the essence when it comes to the hum of a production line or the closing of a deal. This is why we prioritize fast response times and accurate information. With several hundred thousand square feet of production and warehousing space, state-of-the-art converting equipment, and top-tier production and purchasing partners located up and down the East Coast, we have the resources to quickly provide our customers with the solutions they need to keep their production lines running smoothly.
